We have implemented a host of different alternative technologies here that you can see. For example, we have our own water supply and waste water systems, and do not subscribe to any city water or sewage services. We have six different buildings (residential and commercial) that all utilize radiant heating and different degrees of passive solar, solar hot water, and thermal mass temperature storage. Our main commercial refrigerated delivery truck runs on french fry fuel instead of diesel. We have just begun researching and implementing solar electric and wind energy systems that are looking ever more economical now with increased utility costs.
