Eric Burton studied theatrical directing at Millikin University in Decatur, IL with forays into Visual Art, Pedagogy, and Philosophy. With experience building everything from houses to museum exhibits, Eric is thrilled to have finally found a place where his talents can be utilized within a sustainability-minded industry.

Eric began working at Tiny Greens in mid-2008, taking on the enormous responsibility of keeping everything mechanical in the company working in tip-top shape while also overseeing the continued expansion of both product capacity and sustainable resource use. It is his personal goal to help Bill and all his companions at the farm create a model by which all other sustainable industry will be measured in the future.

Bill wants everyone to know that Eric is ridiculously hyper-skilled in all things electrical, plumbing, carpentry, and mechanical. Bill says, “This guy can design and fix anything. Usually you can find somebody who is good at one or two of those but everything!? I am so lucky to have Eric as part of our team.”

Eric volunteers for the local grocery cooperative as well as one of the community theatres in town. When he’s not horribly busy he enjoys camping, sculpting and reading.
